The treatment plan I am on includes several recognised immunotherapies, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, chemotherapy and targeted therapies. These include Cisplatin, Nivolumab, Bevacizumab, Imatinib, and dendritic, oncolytic and CAR-T vaccine-style immunotherapy treatments. I am also taking high doses of vitamins and minerals. The doctors here describe the approach as weakening and confusing the cancer with a cocktail of treatments, while strengthening and encouraging the immune system to attack it.
Why it is considered experimental

The reason this is considered experimental is because this combination of treatments has not been tested on very many people. Many of these treatments are used to treat cancer in hospitals around the world already, but the combination is what makes it unique, along with the personalised vaccines that have been created using my blood and samples of my cancer tissue.
Why I am relunctant to endorse the clinic or
treatment at this stage

I’m reluctant to “endorse” the clinic before I’ve seen the results personally. I did a fair amount of due diligence before making a decision to pursue this, including visiting the clinic, and speaking with several patients who have been treated here and are now in long-term remission. My first impressions are good and I believe this is going to help me. However, it also comes with a lot of risks, and therefore I am unable to personally recommend this to anyone at this stage.

Neden deneysel olarak değerlendiriliyor?

Bunun deneysel olarak değerlendirilmesinin nedeni, bu tedavi kombinasyonunun çok sayıda insan üzerinde test edilmemiş olmasıdır. Sonuçları bizzat görmeden kliniği “tavsiye etmek” konusunda isteksizim. Bu tedaviyi denemeye karar vermeden önce oldukça kapsamlı bir araştırma yaptım; buna kliniği ziyaret etmek ve burada tedavi görmüş, şu anda uzun süreli remisyonda olan birkaç hastayla konuşmak da dahildi.
